It's time to dig deep my friend...mediocracy isn't part of your life-plan!
Whatever your wellness goals are, a few things are certain:
hey self - The dryer did not shrink your undies, you just got bigger and you know it's
high time to stop with the excuses. Are you truly committed to improving this situation? When was the last time we set specific goals, reached and maintained them? Do we yo-yo and sometimes panic for a quick fix? Have we ordered programs and not followed through? Paid for pills, shakes, magic pink potions, and voodoo-like BS that we didn't use or finish?
When your self answers these questions (with additional, unsolicited, snarky commentary). Then ask:
hey self - Have we researched (not Googled, but actually researched) the professionals, programs and products we "panic purchase" for efficacy? What will it take to finally accomplish our wellness goals? What's our stinkin' hang up?
Well first, you probs need a HNL (HELL NO list), ya know a list of crap you don't need to be doing, the "hard no's" you need to be clear on to start building the life you really want. Tossing a few people & tasks out along the way.
I'll tell you what the hang up is, we aren't taught how to manage the mega-tons of stuff that daily life hurls our way, much less how to feed ourselves in a way that
delivers the right messages to our HORMONES. Heck, doctors and nurses aren't taught this information in medical school, so don't beat yourself up! Hormones are the mighty messengers in our bodies that tell our bodies how to use energy (energy = fat or carbs) but this depends on what and when you eat. I teach an entire session on fat burning hormones to help simplify the madness and help you understand why you got chubby in the first place, how to stop gaining fat and how to burn it off. Is belly fat a concern for you? Well, I am concerned for you too! Visceral fat around your vital organs is something we should address so you can get your groove on and feel awesome well into your wrinkly years!!
The reality is, that most people (in developed countries) die a slow, early, painful, expensive death, "living" a poor quality life because of decades of diet and lifestyle choices. This is how NOT TO DIE! Preventable chronic diseases are just that - preventable and in many cases reversible. This probably isn't special breaking news to you. But what is very confusing is the solution.
What is the solution? Simplicity. Start here:
Clear these out of your food-life:
Invest in you, spend time and effort on your health and what makes you truly happy and above all, be willing to learn and work for hard it!
